Riot Games : Company pays workers to stop

An American video games company pays unhappy employees up to $25,000 to stop – even when they’ve only just been recruited.

Riot Games, makers of the smash-hit PC game “League of Legends”, wants to cut ties with newly-appointed staff members if it’s immediately clear they’re inappropriate for the role.

“If someone gags on the unique flavour in our culture, they’d be doing themselves and also the company a disservice to hold on just for the paycheck,” Riot said.
